Got up at about 10.30 am and had a lazy day. Did no work. N went to Dot’s on the 3 bus. I met her off the 10.30. A bit of mist about.

Day off today. Cool at first. Warm and sunny later. Ron came with Jane. Did all the mowing. Did some reading and saw wrestling on T.V. P not bad.

A slight frost first thing but lovely later. No 1 burner on red. Put new assembly unit in. Washed H car, making 194 to date. Did all the Ts. Wore splint in today.

Cool at first but a lovely warm, sunny day later. Hoed under the rhodies and raked weeds and leaves off. Cleared a truck load out of silage lab. Did the Ts.

Very misty first thing but fine warm and sunny later. Got oil leak fixed and moped all the oil up. Cleared silage lab out. Did all the Ts. Lots of stuff to burn.

Another lovely day. Brushed leaves off drive. Mr Howarth shot poor old Prince. I burnt him. 600 gals of oil. Trouble with pipe on No.1 burner.

A lovely sunny warm day again. Car washing B1 polished and K making 193 to date. Mr Howarth back today. Did all the Ts. Sockie came to see me. Stayed dinner. Knee bad.

Not a bad day. Some showers. Mowed new lawn. Dot, Ron and Jane came for dinner. No car. Came on the bus. Had a sleep in the afternoon. Jane woke me up, God love her.

A nice day again. Day on today. Got done about 10 a.m. Not much in. Had a nice quiet day at home. N went to Dot’s in the p.m. I watched telly and did some reading.

Another nice day again. Car washing. A, B2, G. In the week, S, B1,T, making a total of 191 to date. Piles fairly good. Stayed dinner. Did Ts. Brushing boiler room out.
