Warmer today. Some showers. Did a bit of digging. Had a nap in the afternoon. The gang came for tea. Never went out. Had no other visitors come.

Not a bad day. Some showers. Got up at 9am. Cleaned the moped and mowed the lawns. The gang gone to Banger races. Watched telly in the afternoon. Went to the Wheat at night.

Rain at first but some sunshine in the afternoon. Car washing B2, H. Did five in the week making 38 to date. A big lot of stuff in to burn one sort or another. Cleared silage lab.

Heavy frost last night but lovely later. Did four cars, A.K.B1.T. John Wise got killed going to work yesterday morning. Dot and Jane home today. Moped back.

A lovely sunny day. Did the usual and cleaned both jets. Came to work on push bike. Stayed dinner. Saw Mrs Ward. Cleaned John Guy’s car.

Should have gone to Clatter to see Mr P but moped let me down. Think I put too much oil in it. Took it to Cameron’s. Came to work on the bus. A lot of meal in to burn.

Still cold and windy with snow and hail showers. Dot took Nell and Jane to see Lou and Les. Got back at 4.30. I never went out. Too cold. Stayed in and watched the telly.

Wind still at gale force. Heavy showers. Dot brought little Jane to stay the night. Cyril came on 7.30 bus. Went to the Sheaf with him.

Wind still cold and very strong heavy showers at times. Jane and Dot came in the afternoon. Ron gone to the match. Went to Wheat at night.

A very cold day with gale force winds and rain at times. Changed the oil in the moped. Had a quiet day at home and no visitors came.
