Another day of cloud and showers. Did wasps’ nest by privet pillar. Started doing the top of the privet hedge round the lawn. N gone to Dot’s. Saw Ron again.

Another day of cloud and showers. Finished sides of hedge round the big lawn and made a start on the top. Mopped all the office out. Saw Cyril Maylor.

Another dull day. Some showers. Ron came round. Washed T car. Went for petrol. 5 pints. Cut some wood up and cut some more of the hedge.

A bit better today. Did the other two lawns and cut the holly hedge. The gang came for tea. Went home at 7p.m. Never went out.

More rain this morning. Little Jane very good through the night. Came in our bed at about 7a.m. Had a bit of a fun with her. Did big lawn and gave Jane a swing.

Some sunshine but very heavy showers in the p.m. Car washing H.B2. Doc yesterday making 89 to date. Cleared all the lab bins. Little Jane coming to spend the night with us.

Another day of rain. Dot and Jane came at dinner time and took me home in the car and brought me back at 1p.m. Did some more hedge cutting but very wet.

A nasty, dull day with rain at times but warm. Washed Doc’s car and cut some more of the privet hedge. Nell gone to Dot’s for the day.

A heavy thunder storm last night. Burnt a lot of stuff today. Started to cut privet hedge. Did some mopping in the office. Started to rain about 4.30.

Back at work today again. Dull at first but some sun later. Very warm. Car washing. T.K. making 86 to date. A lot of meal in to burn as well as other stuff. Back better.
