Yet another mild day with cloud. Cleaned No1 jet. Did all of the Ts again. A small pig in for burning. Dot came with little Jane today. Gave Len a hand to load the trailer.

Another nice mild day. Changed the inner assembly unit No2 burner. Cleared the silage lab out and did all the Ts again. Got a post for Ron and took it home.

A lovely mild day with some sunshine. Cleaned No1 cold oil filter. Did all the Ts. Bert and Barry put new heater in hot water tank. Men putting new slates on house roof.

Fairly mild again. A little fog. No2 on red again. Car washing. A.T.G. making 4 to date. Cleaned cold oil filter No2. Painter working on the pm room.

A mild morning again. Got up at 10am. Dug the border at top of rockery. Gave it a good mucking. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. Jane went up stairs like rocket.

Day on today. Fairly mild. Two small pigs in to burn. No.2 burner on red again. Had to clean jet. Got done about 10.15. Never went to P. Had afternoon by the fire watching the telle.

Frost last night and colder today. 1 ton of coke came last night. C. No.2 on red again this am. Got a rise today. Cleaned H car. Only one. Cleaned both hot filters.

A fairly mild day again, cloudy but no rain. No 2 burner on red first thing. Jet blocked. Did S car. Very dirty. Did all the Ts. Cleared out the silage lab. Got some works bird in vet lab.

Wednesday 1st January, 1964

Another year begins today. Please God it will be a good one. Cleaned jets and changed pumps. A nice, mild day so far. A lot to burn again, Oyster Catcher in the pm lab.

Another mild day with a few light showers. Washed Bond’s car. Did all the toilets out. Lot of fowl from Hanns Hall to burn. Last day of the old year.
