Still a cold East wind but a sunny day. Did No.2 jet. The Nuway maintenance man called. Cleaned Shack’s car. Did all the Ts again. Not much in to burn. Nothing of note.

Not quite so cold today but dull with some rain. Car washing again. T.G.B. making 51 to date. Did all the Ts out. A fair amount to burn. N. gone to have her hair permed.

Still very cold, with slight snow in the night. Cut a few logs. Ron, Dot and Jane came for tea. Jane walks very well now. Went to the Sheaf about 8.30. Not many in.

A very cold day again with East winds and very slight snow. Too cold for any gardening. Never went to P. but stayed at home and watched the telly. Mrs won 25/- at bingo.

The wind still bitterly cold. Best said boiler wouldn’t be done until June or July. Bonus today. Only two cars making 48 to date. Cleared silage lab. Did all the Ts.

More cold East wind again with some sunshine. Washed the walls in the lab toilet and painted waste paper bins. Brushed up down boiler room. Not much to burn.

More of the cold East wind today again. Cleaned No.1 burner and painted it. Cleared a truck load out of the silage lab, and two bins with sack. Did all the toilets. A fairly big pig to burn.

Another day of the East wind, but nice and sunny in the afternoon. Did No.2 jet. No one come to do the other boiler yet. Cleaned shack’s car and did the chrome. Did all the Ts. Not much to burn.

A cold East wind again today. Car washing A.B.K. making 46 to date. A calf to burn today. A lot of other stuff as well. Did the Ts. Burnt three bags of stuff for Mrs Harris.

Much cooler today. Wind back in the East. Finished the mowing and cleaned the big rose bed. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. Jane is lovely. Saw Joe and Bet in the W.Sheaf.
