A lovely warm sunny day. Asked Doc about Charlie’s flat. I hope I can get it. Car washing. H.T.B1.G.Doc making 105 to date. Not much in to burn. Young Martin out of lab left.

Not a bad day. Wind dropped. Started to rain about 4p.m. Finished cutting brash in wood. Cleared all lab bins out. Buried Fred Moss today. Dot and Jane at home.

A very strong wind last night and today. Cutting off brash in the wood and burning it. Bona got a new car. Ted Williams caught after eggs.

Not a nice day. Cloud at first. Heavy rain after dinner. Finished the other side of the drive. Cut some wood. Cleared silage lab out and finished cleaning sut traps out.

Not a very nice day. Cloud and cool. Did some cleaning up the drive. A gas leak on top of the drive. Did the office. Cut some wood for the incin. Fred Moss died.

A bit better today. Cleaned bike. Cleaned the chain and tightened it. The gang came for tea. Jane very funny with Blackie. Stayed in.

A showery day. Some sun. Did all the mowing. A bit wet for it. Went with Bill Edwards to the Harp and the Oak. Very heavy rain at night.

Another nice day with some sunshine. Someone pinched spade from the drive yesterday. Car washing B2, Doc, B1 making 99 to date. Brushing leaves up off the front.

Cloudy at first but nice after dinner. Went for half gall of petrol. Cleared up outside entrance. Mopped office out. Dot and Jane at home. Came on the bus.

Not so nice today. A few showers at first. Cleaned the sump out in the incin. Finished one side of the drive and made a start on the other. N gone to Dot’s.
