Got up at 9.30am. A rather cold morning. Jane and Dot came to see us. Old Horace Ford came to see me. Stayed until about 9 o’clock. Thought he was never going.

Got up at 8.15am and went to therapy. Got home at noon. My knee seems to be doing ok. I meet some nice blokes at therapy and it passes the day.

Got up at about 9am. A coolish sort of a day. Did some reading and had a kip after dinner. Nothing very important taken place.

Got up at 8.15 and went to therapy. Ambulance got here about 9.45. Went on ok there and got home just after noon. Did a bit of gardening.

Went to see Selby for the first time. Went on the bike. Not too bad. Nell and I went to Harold Nick’s to see moped. I bought it off him for £20. He took us and brought us back.

(Half-Quarter Day)

Got up at 8.15 and went to do my jerks at therapy. Got on ok. Home at noon. Went up the road for a walk in the afternoon. Got as far as Everitt’s.

Got up about 9.30am. Not a bad sort of a day. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. Frank and Dora also came to see us. At night, Joe and Bet came.

Got up at 9.30 am. It was raining and kept on raining all day long. Nothing of importance happened. My leg seems to be going on ok but slowly.

Went to therapy. They came for me about 9.15. Got home just after noon. Went for a walk up the road in the afternoon. Got as far as MNL bank. Did a bit of reading.

Got up at 9am. A rather cold day. Did a bit of pruning in the rose garden. Dot and Jane came on the 10.30 bus. Went home on the 4.30.
