Weather still very good. Took some books to Bailey’s cottage for Harry Mayloy. Frank, Dora and her sistger came to see us at night.

Weather still warm and sunny. Got up at 9.30. Aunty Clara came to pick up her brolly. Ron ran her back at night. Went for a drink at night.

Weather still nice and warm. Never did much all day. Only played with Jane. Watched cricket on T.V. in the afternoon and went to a drink at night.

A lovely day. Got up at 9.50 and had a game with Jane. Did some reading and watched the T.V. Went and had a few jars at night with Mick.

A lovely warm sunny day. Went to Liverpool to see Al and Girl. Also went to see Joy and family. A very nice day. Got back about 7.15. Went to Sheaf.

Not a bad day with warm sunshine. Dot and Ron took Jane for a ride on the donkeys at New Brighton. I went to bed in the p.m. and went to the Sheaf at night.

Had a lay in this a.m. Tired after trip. Didn’t do any work. Watched T.V. in the p.m. Went to the Shrew at night with Alf. Quite enjoyed the night.

Got up at 7 a.m. to go on the Council trip. Bus left Ness at 7.45. Went to Carnarvon and finished at Rhyl. Went to see Askey.* Had a good day with Alf. Home around 1.

*Assume this was Arthur Askey who was playing summer season in Rhyl that year.

Brought Dot and little Jane around Weatherstones this morning. Came on the 11 bus and went home on the 12.20. Jane enjoyed it very much.

Had to go to see Mr Partridge at Clatterbridge. Left home at 9.45 and got back about 12.45. Not very helpful today. Not a bad day. Sheaf at night.
