Still cold and windy with snow and hail showers. Dot took Nell and Jane to see Lou and Les. Got back at 4.30. I never went out. Too cold. Stayed in and watched the telly.

Wind still blowing strong, cold as well. Went for half gall of petrol. Got 1 pint oil. Cleaned both jets. Cleaned windows in the office. A lot of old meal in for burning.

Rain at first but fine later. A strong wind blowing cool. Irish gave birth to a son this morning at 3am. 7lbs weight. 11 pigs in to burn and a lot of fowl and lambs from Hans Hall.

Got up at 10a.m. A strong wind. Joe brought me some plants. Put some in and gave the rest to Dot. Gang came for tea. Mrs Sumner won £2.50 on Spot the Ball in The Echo.
