A fairly good day. Not much wind. Some sunshine. Did the gravel path round the house. Screws in my knee still bad. Please God it would get better. Sharpened razors for Paddy again.

Not a bad sort of day. Hoed the path by the greenhouse. Took home six chickens in the bus with John. Got shoes back from menders. 13- 6. Screws in knee bad today.

A strong wind with heavy showers at times. 140 hens to burn from Hanns Hall. Two cars washed. Mc.A. making 199 to date. Went to Tom Jellicoe’s for fire wood. Put some new fire bars in the incin 4.

Got up at 10am. Strong wind blowing. Put wire up for chicks. Went to see Ron in Clatterbridge and afterwards went to see Cyril. Not a bad day. Heavy showers at night.

Day on today. Got done about 10. Dot and Nell gone to Joyce Lloyd’s wedding. Went to P. Did the mowing but got rained off. Went home. Watched TV.

A dray day but quite cold. One boiler came in ok this morning. Car washing S.H.D. making 197 to date. Half a dozen fire bars came for the incin.

A catch of frost first thing but lovely sunny, warm day. Got the boilers ready. Am going to try them out. Took a wasps nest by the university gates.

Fine at first but then dismal and wet later. Finished painting the incinerator stack. 3 coats. Nell and Dot gone to Liverpool. Cleaned both sets of jets.

Fine at first but heavy rain all afternoon. Ron gone in hospital again today. Started to clean incinerator chimney. A.P. brought 1 ton of coke. K.

A lovely mild day without wind. Car washing K.S. making 194 to date. Got some fire wood off Ron. Girl round for an interview today. Paid canteen 5/-. C.
