Got up at 9.30. Did some mowing. Gale still blowing and heavy rain started about 10am. Ron gone to the Lakes. Dot came for dinner. Stayed the night.

Day off today. Got up a 9.30. Did no work. Strong wind blowing but dry. Went to P. Did some weeding and did the mowing. ? gave me some mushrooms.

Dry but a very strong wind blowing. Went to Bonds to clear down spout. Won a special award with my A.B.C. Car washing H.A.D. making 184 to date.

Cold today with strong wind at times. Rain in the afternoon. Hoeing and burning rubbish up the drive. Saving up wood for incin in the afternoon. Nothing unusual happened.

A dry day but a very strong wind blowing. Working up the drive again. Scythed both grass. Going to the Bibby show with my A.B.C. tonight. Best of luck.

Cooler today with little sunshine. Went to Tom Jellicoe’s for fire wood. Painting calf pens all day until 5pm. Not much in to burn.

A day of showers. Heavy at times. Sunny in the afternoon. Car washing. B.Mc. making 181 to date. Gathered some wood from the battery house. Swept round bins.

Not a bad sort of a day. Did some tidying up in the garden. Ron and Dot came for tea. Went to the Wheatsheaf. Saw old Jim. Some rain at night.

Saturday on today. Finished about 10. Nice day. Went to P in afternoon. Went for a run around. Mick, Jack Millington. Locked Mrs out. Oh dear. Neston show.

Nice first thing with sunshine but cloud later. Dug some worms for Mason Bibby. Had bonus. Half week’s pay. Only did one car H. making 179 to date. Rung zoo about hawk.
