A nice day at first, but rain after dinner. 600 gals oil came. D. Cleaned S car. Doing floors last night. Ron new van. Cleaned both the jets. Cleared silage lab.

A very pleasant day again. Nice and mild. Crisis over Cuba. Raking and burning leaves up the drive. Worked overtime with John, doing the house floors.

A dull day but mild. No sunshine. Went to Tom’s for fire wood. Raked leaves off path and lawns by green house. Raking leaves up drive and burning them.

Cooler today and not as much sunshine. Car cleaning again D.Mc.K. making 227 to date. Knee better today, thank God. Robinson new Morris car. Not a lot to burn today.

A nice day again. Got up at 10 a.m. Dug the rowan tree out of border. Ron and Dot came. Also Frank and Dora. Saw Jeff Biggs at night in W.S.

A nice sunny day again. Saturday on. Got done about 10 a.m. Cleared the weeds off the footpath by fence. Went to P again. This afternoon cleaned drive.

Drizzle at first but quite nice later. Nice and mild. Car cleaning again. A.S.H. making 224 to date. Bill Barns a new car. Brushed leaves up off the drive this a.m.

Very foggy first thing. Sun broke through later but not for long. Puddington again in the morning. Cleaned both the jets out again.

Fog at first but a lovely day afterwards. Went to Puddington all day. White washing calf pens. Got back at 5.15. Not good to work down there.

Another beautiful warm sunny day again. Cleared a lot of hay out of the lab. Raked up leaves round steps and under rhodies. Went for hair cut.
