A much milder day today with thick cloud. Cleared the silage lab again. Car washing. H.S.B.McD. making 272 to date. Xmas bonus. Half a week.

A bitterly cold north west wind today again. Frost last night. Hedge cutting again today. Nearly finished now. Cleaned both the jets. Cleared silage lab once more.

A very cold north west wind with snow and heavy showers. Did a bit of hedge cutting but too wet. White washed the incinerator place.

A mild day but rain nearly all day. Cleaned both the flues out. Fair bit in. Started to cut last of the hedges. A lot to burn. One half-grown pig. F.

Got up 10 a.m. Very cold wind blowing. Put a strip of wood down door. Ron and Dot came for tea. Went out 8 o’clock. Saw Socky and Harry Mealor.

Day off today. Rain and high winds first thing but fine later. Men rebricking incin. Went to P in the afternoon. Did some digging, replanting.

A bit warmer today but wind still cold. Car washing again. S.H.D. making 265 to date. Cleaned out sump in the incin. ready for rebricking.
