Day off today. Very cold again. Freezing cold wind. Went to P in the afternoon. Burnt some rubbish. Cleaned the car. Gave me a good coat.

A slight frost again last night but thawing all day. Car washing H.A.K.S.B.Mc. making 31 to date. Saw Mr Muir. Suspected fowl pest on the place.

Very slight frost last night, thawing all day. Went to football last night. Cleaned hot and cold filters No. 1 and No. 2 burners. Painted incin flue stack. Jane put 9oz on in the last week. WK.

Another frost last night but a good thaw during the day. Cleaned out the silage lab. Cleaned ice off the path. Went to Tom for sawdust. 600 galls of oil came. O.

Frost again with a bitterly cold east wind. Went to Tom Jel for firewood and cut it up. Loaded the rubbish on the trailer. Had to clean No.2 jet.

Keen frost this a.m. again but thawing in the sunshine later. Maintenance man did oil pump on No.1 Burned clean both the jets. Big pig to burn. Painting incinerator.

Another keen frost last night but thawed a bit in the day. Some sunshine. Went to see my granddaughter. She’s lovely. Came back at 7.30.

Day on today. A frost again with a very cold wind. Got done 10 a.m. Did some windows. Not fit to go to P again. Had a bath in the p.m. Watched telly.
