Got up 9 a.m. Did the mowing and soiled up spuds. Allan and Girl came for dinner. Ron, Dot and baby came for tea. Mick paid out winnings. £106-73/4. Just lovely.

Day on again today. Got done about 10 a.m. Did some tidying up in garden. Went to P in the afternoon. Did some mowing. Came up on Mick’s ticket. Luck at last.*

A nice day with plenty of sunshine. A bullock from Pudd to burn. Car washing H.A. making 119 to date. Plumbers been to fix toilets. Cleaned all the toilets.

Another day of clouds and showers but a bit warmer. Dod and baby home at noon. A lovely surprise. Cleaned out all the lab grids and two on drive. Scythed grass in front of S office.

Another cold, cloudy day with heavy rain at times. Finished digging the borders and did all the toilets. Cooper beaten by Clay last night. Gaynor off sick. Shingles.

On again today. Got done about 10 a.m. A lovely warm day again. Went to P in the p.m. Did the mowing and some weeding. Ron took Girl, Joy and the kiddies* to Chester.
