Got up at 9a.m. A better day. Did the lawns. Dot, Ron and Jane came. Dot and Ron took John and Ann to Chester Zoo. Got back at 5.30. Saw John Perry in the pub.

Day off today. A miserable day with rain until the p.m. Went to P. Did the mowing and dug the borders over. Jacky got married today. Not a very nice day.
