A sharp frost last night and cold all day. Cleared out the silage lab again. A full truck load. Also moved two bins full of glass. Did all the Ts. Burnt a lot of fowl.

Still cold but sunny in the afternoon. Car washing. A.B.G.Mc. making 223 to date. A lot of fowl from Hanns Hall again. Also one of Joe’s pigs, about 100 lbs. N gone Xmas shopping.

Sunday not a bad day but still rather cold. Ron came with Sam Dodd. Went to see Jane. Ron, Dot and Jane came for tea. Saw Bill in the morning.

Day on today and a lot of stuff in to burn. Still a cold wind. Mr Harris brought some rubbish to burn. Went to P in the afternoon. Digging. Got a new barrow.

Still cold and dull. New chief started today. Got a new leather. L. 1 ton of coke came last night. C. Car washing again. S.H.T. making 219 to date. Did all the Ts again. Day on tomorrow.

Some sunshine but still a cold, East wind blowing. About 100 head of poultry to burn from Hanns Hall. Dot and Jane came today. Jane is crawling now. Cleared silage lab out again.

Another dull day with a very cold, East wind blowing. No.1 burner on red first thing. Cleared paper bin by printing machine out. Started to white wash the boiler room.

Got up at 10 o’clock. Not a very nice morning. Didn’t do any gardening. Did a few little jobs to help Nell. The gang came for tea. Ron and Dot bought Jane’s Xmas toys yesterday.
