A heavy frost this morning. Keenest yet. Cleaned both jets. Had to do No.2 four times but seems ok now. Did all the Ts again. Men here surveying the drains. Nell gone to see Dot.

Another cold dull day. Did all the Ts in this morning. John put new wheel on my barrow. Children’s party today. Cleared the silage lab out. Gave maintenance man a hand fitting new mag valve.

Still cold wind in the East. Cut a lot of wood up for the incin. Car washing B.K.G. making 227 to date. Nuway man not come yet.

Still quite cold. Got up at 10 a.m. Too cold for gardening. Dot, Ron and Jane came. Jane crawling everywhere now. Saw Joe and Bet in the Wheatsheaf.

Day off today. Still cold. Cut some firewood up at home. Went to P in the afternoon. Finished digging the borders under burberry hedge. Got an Xmas tree for Dot.

Another bitterly gold day with strong, East wind. Put a new olive on pipeline. Burnt 150 chicks from out of Paddy’s place. Cleared silage lab again. A full truck load again.
