More of the cold East wind today again. Cleaned No.1 burner and painted it. Cleared a truck load out of the silage lab, and two bins with sack. Did all the toilets. A fairly big pig to burn.

Another day of the East wind, but nice and sunny in the afternoon. Did No.2 jet. No one come to do the other boiler yet. Cleaned shack’s car and did the chrome. Did all the Ts. Not much to burn.

A cold East wind again today. Car washing A.B.K. making 46 to date. A calf to burn today. A lot of other stuff as well. Did the Ts. Burnt three bags of stuff for Mrs Harris.

Much cooler today. Wind back in the East. Finished the mowing and cleaned the big rose bed. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. Jane is lovely. Saw Joe and Bet in the W.Sheaf.

Another beautiful mild day. Day on. Got done about 10 a.m. Mr Harris brought some stuff to burn. Did the mowing at home. Went to P in the p.m. Started to prune the roses.

A lovely mild day again. Car washing T.S.H. making 43 to date. A bit lot of stuff to burn. Cleaned out the silage lab. A truck load. Did all the Ts. Tom Jellicoe taken ill.

Yet another nice mild day with some showers and some sunshine. Brushed up round the bins. Cleaned out the sump in the incin. Burned a lot of chick boxes. Did all the Ts. 1 ton of coke. C.
