Another mild day with some rain. Put a new inner tube on Nell’s bike and two new brake blocks. Did all the Ts. Did some white washing in the boiler room. No2 on red this a.m.

Fairly mild with a strong northwest wind and some showers. Cleaned all the Ts out. Cleared a truck load out of the silage lab. Put the window back in the tank room.

A mild day again. Both boilers ok this morning. Knee very bad today. Cleaned the Ts out. Outside one very dirty. No2 on red after dinner. Tried to mend the puncture. No good. Have to get a new tube.

A nice, mild day again. Had to come to work owing to men sludging the oil tanks. Got done at 4pm. 1200 galls of oil came. Knee very bad. Dot, Ron and Jane came.

Day off but had to turn out because Shell took oil out of tanks. Worked 5 hours. Little Jane’s first birthday. May God bless her. A nice, mild day.

A nice, mild day again. Mr Howarth came and put poor little Bunts to sleep. Poor, poor Bunts.* Car washing again. G.K.T.Mc.H.S. making 18 to date. Cleared a truck load from silage lab.

Mild again today. Washed some more cars. Cut old gate up from by tennis courts. Had a go at fitting new nozzle unit. Not much luck yet. Try again.

Yet another nice, mild day. Cleaned some cars. Jane and Dot at home. Nell bought Jane first pair of shoes. Got a puncture in my bike. Have to get a new inner tube.

A bit of frost this morning and some fog. Went to doctor with L knee. Ron put door on back place. Man from Neston came about oil tanks. Doing them Sunday.

A lovely, mild day with sunshine. Shell man came to see about oil. Car washing A.B.S. making 12 to date. No time for Ts. Had a new assembly.
