A nice warm day with a nice breeze. Finish cutting the pillars and the hedge in front of chief’s office. Did the Ts. A small pig in for burning. Ted Williams off sick.

Cool at first but nice and warm later. Did some hedge cutting and started to cut the top of the pillars. No time to do any Ts. Not a lot to burn. Some papers from A’s office.

Rather cool at first but a bit warmer in the p.m. Washed Shack’s car and polished the chrome. Did all the Ts. A lot of books to burn from Atfield’s office. Knee not to bad.

A nice sort of day with pretty well of sunshine. Car washing. B1.B2.K. Making 129 to date. Did all the Ts. Saw Mr Daves and Shirley Jones. Not much to burn.

Got up at 9.30 and mowed the new lawn. Not a bad day. Had some fun with Jane. Did some reading and had a nice sleep in the afternoon. Went to the Sheaf at night.

Day off today. Cooler than yesterday. Went to docs with my hand. Said they were some kind of burn. Had a good snooze in the afternoon. Did some reading.

A lovely sunny day. Very hot. Car washing. H.T.A. making 126 to date. Mc finishes here tonight. Did two of the Ts. and brushed the ramp into the boiler room.

A very warm day. Knee very good today. Hoed under the blackcurrant bushes and raked up. Did all the Ts. Judy called with her two little boys.

Another lovely sunny day. Knee not very good despite injection. Did some hoeing among the rhodies and tied up forsythia. Did all the Ts. Burnt a lot of stuff for H.

Lovely warm sunny day. Went to Clatterbridge. Got there 10.30. In bed until 4pm. Caught 5pm bus home. Saw Totty and his wife going on bus to Clatter. Had a car accident.
