A nice mild day with some sunshine. Finished down the drive, cleaning under the rhodies. Did two of the toilets. Came to work one pedal today. Stayed dinner.

A dull rainy day today. Had a lift in with Ron this morning. A pig to burn and a lot of chickens. Cleaned the flue traps out and some more out of the flues.

P. A nice morning. Biked to Clatterbridge. Saw Mr P. Put my leg in a back splint. Can’t bend it. Had to leave my bike there. Got home on the 2.30 bus. Saw Dot in Neston.

A cool wind blowing today but no rain. Car cleaning. Mc.S. making 117 to date. Did all the Ts again. A lot of stuff to burn today. Going to do a bit of weeding up the drive.

Much colder today. Dug new spuds for dinner. Ron did the mowing for me and tidied the borders. I tied up the climbing roses and played with Jane.

Day on today. Got done about 10 a.m. Not a bad sort of day. Nice and warm. Played with little Jane and had a good sleep in the p.m. Girl and Allan came last night.

A lovely warm sunny day. Car cleaning G.T.H. making 115 to date. Did all the Ts. Jane came at noon. Staying now until the house is ready. Had a card from Len this morning.

Cold today with some showers. Very little sun. Working p the drive again. Done half of the other side. Did all the Ts. Welfare men out for the Mill. Told them what work I do.

Dull at first but a fair amount of sunshine in the afternoon. First day of Cheshire Show. Started cleaning up the drive. Finished one side. No time to do any Ts.

Fine at first but heavy rain later. Washed A car and cut a bit of wood for the incinerator. Did all the toilets. Got wet going home at dinner time.
