Got up at 9 a.m. Not a bad day. Some showers. Had alzy day. Dot, Ron and Jane went to see Ron’s Uncle in the a.m. and too Nell to see Lou and Les in the p.m.

Day on today. Got done about 10 a.m. Not a bad day. Some showers at first but fine later. Took an old chair home for Dot. Had an easy day at home. Did no work.

A glorious warm sunny day. Car washing H.A.S. in the week making 149 to date. Did all the Ts and put some disinfection in each. Knee a bit better.

Not a bad day. Nice and warm. Mowing in the wood. Man from the mill came to measure for new stack for the incin. Did all the Ts.

A lovely warm sunny day. Hoed under the black current bushes again and started to mow in the wood. Did the outside T. Right foot aching today.

Rain most of the day. Very warm. Loaded the trailer. Took top off incinerator chimney. Rotted away. Cleaned S car and did all the Ts. Put smellies in them all.

Back at work again today. Car washing once again. T.G.B2, K, making 146 to date. Very muggy today. Did all the Ts. Cat pleased to see me.

Not a bad day but rather cold wind. Some showers. Dot, Ron, N and Jane went to see Fan at Saughall. Got home at 5.30 so I went to the Sheaf at night.

A big change in the weather this morning. Heavy rain and thunder nearly all morning. Bad flooding in some places. N, Dot, Ron and Jane went to B’head.

It is still very nice weather. Lots of sun. Len Harris, Ron’s friend, and his wife and son came to see Dot in the morning. Left about 11.30. Sheaf at night.
