A lovely warm sunny day with a strong breeze blowing. Did both sides of the drive again now. Did S car and the Ts. Howarth asked Thomas about a house.

Not a bad day. Dry with a strong wind blowing. Cleared the moss off the drive and started to do the borders. Did all the Ts. No car washing today.

Got up soon after 9 a.m. Took Frank and Dora to see Dot and her new house. Played with Jane. Dot, Ron, Jane came for tea. Took Jane for a little walk.

Day off today. Got up about 9.15. Cleaned the washhouse out and did the mowing. Had a bath in the p.m. Frank and Dora came at 3.30 to stay the weekend.

A nice day. A bit warmer. Car washing H.T.A. making 168 to date. Took Dearic my poems to read. Bryan Holmes leaves tonight. Only had time for outside toilet.

Not a bad day though cool at times. Men came and put a new stack on the incin. Brushed leaves up on the drive. Cleared silage lab and did all the Ts. Dot and little Jane came.

A very cold wind today with some showers. Finished cleaning under the rhodies. Took some stuff out of the silage lab. Painted No.2. burner and did all the Ts. Not much to burn.

A showery day, fairly warm. Dot and Jane went to new house today. Will miss them both. Washed T. and G. cars making 165 to date. Started to clean under the Rhodes. Did the Ts.

Rain all morning but cleared a bit after dinner. Washed S car making 163 to date. Did all the Ts. Took a bundle of paper sacks to Joe. Got a bin of sawdust.

A lovely warm sunny day. Took Jane for a walk as far as the seat. Went to see Dot’s new house in the afternoon. It’s a very nice place. Saw old Jim and Joe in the W.S.
