Got up at 9.15am. Lovely day again. Watered the garden. John brought the kitten. A lovely smokey colour. But very wild. Have a bit of a job on.

Got up at about 9am. Dot and Jane came on the 10.30 bus. Took Jane for a walk in the field. Let her play in the water through. Kitten not come yet.

First of my three days. A lovely day. Did a good lot of garden work. N went to Dot’s. Had a nice quiet day on my own. Was expecting a kitten off Ray. Never came.

Another lovely day. Wind rather cool. Went with John for a load of wood. Cut it up. Did some hoeing round the lab borders. Did all the Ts. Starting last three says hols tonight.

A slight frost first thing but lovely sunny day. Car cleaning again. S.G.B.A. making 196 to date. Did all the Ts. Cleaned windows in H car. Quite a lot of stuff in to burn.

Got up at 10 a.m. Ron brought little Jane for the day. A nice sunny day but wind rather cool. Allan and Girl came. Took Nell and Jane back to Dot’s. Saw Joe in the W.S.

Day on today. Got done at 10 a.m. Rather cool with some showers. Didn’t do any gardening but watched T.V. and had a nap. Had a good bath at night and went to W.S.

Another nice day but cooler. Phil Barnes leaves tonight. Car washing. H.T.S.B. Making 192 today. Ron started week’s hols. Did all the Ts. Got a new leather.

Another lovely warm day though not as warm as yesterday. Hoed borders under low wall and front of herbaceous borders. Moved a lot of stuff out of house. Cleaned silage lab. Did all the Ts.

A lovely hot sunny day. Finished border opposite chief’s office. Brushed some leaves and burnt them. Cleaned and polished B’s car. Did outside toilet only.
