Another dull cloudy day but not too cold. Car washing again. H.T.B1. making 220 to date. Did all the Ts. Heard that S is leaving. Mark and Roger are leaving tonight.

A fairly mild day but dull. Raking leaves up the drive and burning them. Did all the Ts. A lot of fowl to burn from Hanns Hall. Went home to dinner. Dot and Jane there. Also pup.

A nice mild day with sunshine. Cleaned both jets. Cleared out silage lab and did all the Ts. Stayed dinner again. Leg a little easier but got a bad head.

A lovely mild day. Nurse came to give flu injections. Couldn’t have one. Brushed the leaves up off drive. Did all the Ts. Knee pretty bad again. Stayed dinner.

Got up just after 9am. Still pretty cold. Knee still bad. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. They got a little pup today for Jane. Never went out. Leg too bad. Watched the telly.

Day on today. Got done about 10am. Frost at first. Cold all day. Shewrings went at 11.30. Knee still very bad. Never went out until 9pm. The clocks back 1 hour.

Cold today with strong winds. Showers, some as hail. Washed two cars, H.G. and T yesterday making 212 to date. Mrs Hyde retired today. Do in the Sheaf, Ness last night. A dance in Willaston tonight.

Much cooler today. Ron’s dad and mum* came and stayed the night. Went with him to take Dot back. Raked some leaves up the drive. Cleaned T’s car. Only outside T. Lot of burning.
