Not a very nice day. Some heavy showers. Only did one car, Bond’s, making 182 to date. Got a few toys off Bond for little Jane. Did all the Ts.

Quite cold this morning. Got up at 9.30. Cut some wood up for fire. Dot and Jane came for tea. Ron busy decorating. N went back with them, 7pm bus.

Day on today. Stayed to lock house up. Charles away. Mowed all the lawns and watered the flowers. Watched the all-in wrestling in the afternoon.

A nice warm day again with fresh winds. Few light showers. Car washing. H. Polish. B&G in the week making 181 to date. Watered the rhodies. Did Ts. A fairly big pig in to burn.

Another lovely mild day with strong winds. Cut creeper from ground windows. Did a car. Cleared the silage lab. Did some hoeing. Did all the Ts. Swept round the bins.

A nice mild day again. Stayed dinner. Did Joy’s flues. Ted Evans moved to Mill Lane. Put bricks back in boiler fronts. Washed T car. Did all the Ts. Shack gone to Hungary.

A nice day. Not too cold. Brushed up round the bins. Pulled up weeds. Started to get the boilers ready. Dot and Jane at home. Did all the Ts. Mr Hammond here with his wife.

Work again today. Car washing. B,K making 176 to date. Did all the Ts. A lot of stuff in for burning. Ray been outside manager for better or worse.

A day of showers today and cooler. Dot, Ron and Jane came for tea. Jane loves Timmy, the kitten. He is very friendly now. Sits on my knee.
