Quite a nice day again. Cold at first but nice sunny afternoon. Went to Tom Jellicoe’s for some wood and cut it up. Cleaned both jets. Bond got new car. Jean presented with battery clock.

A nice warm day today. Went to the doc with my knee today. It is a bit better today, thank God. Car washing again. Mc.A.S. making 206 to date. Starting windows tonight. W.

A nice day again. Got up at 10a.m. Dot brought Ron home from hospital. Dora and Frank came. Also Joan, Les and the kids. Joan told us poor Aggie had passed away. Sheila married.

My day on today. Got done about 10. Went to Shrew. Mrs Ward’s party. Never went to P in the afternoon. Knee too bad. Had a rest on the bed until 4p.m. Watched wrestling.

A nice sunny day. Quite warm. Car cleaning again. B.K.H.S. making 203 to date. Going to Shack’s to sweep flues. Hope I make a good job. Screws still very bad. Please God they get better.

Not a bad sort of day. No rain. Brushed up round the bins. Washed Shack’s car. Put a new cover in the incinerator stack. Cleaned out jet on No. 1 boiler. Screws still bad. Left No. 2 burner on all day.

A fairly good day. Not much wind. Some sunshine. Did the gravel path round the house. Screws in my knee still bad. Please God it would get better. Sharpened razors for Paddy again.
