Heavy showers first thing but sunny later. Working up the drive again. A lot of moss grown on the tarmac. Did all the toilets. Not much in for burning.

A warm day with some showers. Poor Keith lost his baby girl. Working up the drive, hoeing. Loaded the trailer with rubbish. Did all the toilets.

Another very warm day but mostly cloudy. Did some scything in the wood. Hoed under the rhodies. Cleaned all the toilets out in the afternoon. Nothing important.

Back at work again today. Hols soon gone. Car washing. S.B. Polished both of them. A lovely day again. Warm with plenty of sunshine. Old cat pleased to see me.

Another nice day again. Very warm. Had an easy day. Did no work. Dot, Ron and Jane came for dinner. Jane is lovely. Went to the pub at night. Saw old Jim.

A lovely not sunny day. Got up at 9.30 and did a bit of pottering. Went to P in the afternoon. Started to cut the hedge. Very hot, hard work.

`Got up about 9.30 a.m. A nice sunny day again. Cleared all the weeds off the footpath outside. Went to P for a couple of hours. Did the mowing. Hols about over now.

Got up about 10 a.m. A nice sunny day without rain. Did some more work in the garden. It is quite tidy again now. Went for a drink at night. Nothing of note took place.

Got up at 10.30 a.m. A very wet, nasty morn. Went out with Frank Jellicoe round Wales. Called in to see Dot. She was very surprised. Quite a nice little cottage they are at.
