A very cold wind today with some showers. Finished cleaning under the rhodies. Took some stuff out of the silage lab. Painted No.2. burner and did all the Ts. Not much to burn.

A showery day, fairly warm. Dot and Jane went to new house today. Will miss them both. Washed T. and G. cars making 165 to date. Started to clean under the Rhodes. Did the Ts.

Rain all morning but cleared a bit after dinner. Washed S car making 163 to date. Did all the Ts. Took a bundle of paper sacks to Joe. Got a bin of sawdust.

A lovely warm sunny day. Took Jane for a walk as far as the seat. Went to see Dot’s new house in the afternoon. It’s a very nice place. Saw old Jim and Joe in the W.S.

Day on today. Got done about 10 a.m. A nice sort of day. Took Jane for a little walk in the field. She loved it. Had a kip in the afternoon. Did the mowing.

A dull day with some sunny periods. Went to poor old Fred’s funeral service at Burton Church. Car washing. H.A. making 164 to date. Dot’s furniture come in the new house today.

A dull day but warm. Finished mowing round the tennis courts and raked it all up. A fair sized pig in to burn. Did all the Ts. Got the screws in the back of my (can’t read this).

A nice warm day again. Finished burning in wood. Took two wasps’ nests. Started to cut grass round courts. Did all the Ts. Ron had a day hol. Fred Maddock died 11th.

A lovely sunny warm day. Finished cutting the holly hedge and raked it up and burnt it all. Also burnt the grass from in the wood. Never did the Ts.

A few slight showers but fine later. Car washing. T.S.K. making 162 to date. Cutting the top of the holly hedge. Did all the Ts. Fair amount in for burning.
My Granddad is Keeping Busy
